Once logged in, click "Add a new book" from the homepage within a collection. You can then upload a manuscript (DOCX, PDF or text) or paste your content directly. Analysis starts automatically.

BookInsight accepts DOCX, PDF, TXT and RTF formats. You can also paste text directly into the interface.

Each seat receives a monthly token allocation based on your plan. Tokens are consumed during analyses. For team plans (Professional+), tokens are pooled: all team members share the same token pool.

Yes, all you need to do is go to the 'My Subscription' page and select a pack of additional tokens. If you regularly reach your limit, we recommend upgrading to the next plan for more monthly tokens. Please note that only paid plans allow you to 'purchase' additional tokens.

No, tokens reset every month and unused tokens do not report to the next month. We recommend planning your analyses based on your monthly allocation.

No, our support team is available during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm CET). Professional customers benefit from priority support with shorter response times. Enterprise customers can benefit from a custom SLA.

On the 'My Subscription' page, enter your colleagues' email addresses and then click on "Invite a member". They will receive an invitation by email.

On Professional and Enterprise plans, all tokens are pooled. Any team member can use tokens from the shared pool to perform analyses. Admins can track consumption per member from the 'My Subscription' page.

Admin: full access, team management, billing and settings. Member: can create projects, perform analyses and consume tokens from the shared pool.

Yes, in accordance with GDPR, you can at any time request the export of your data or the deletion of your account and all your data. These requests can be made from your account settings or by contacting our support.

Your content remains your intellectual property. We process your manuscripts only to provide our analysis services. We will never use your content to train our AI models. All content is processed with the strictest confidentiality, adapted to pre-publication manuscript protection needs. Once encrypted for analysis, the document you have uploaded is permanently deleted from our platform.

We designed BookInsight specifically for the publishing industry. Each manuscript is processed with strict protection measures: encryption in transit and at rest, restricted and compartmentalized access, no AI training on your content by default. Our teams understand the importance of pre-publication confidentiality and our processes are aligned with these requirements.

Yes, BookInsight is designed to be GDPR compliant. We offer a DPA for all our customers and proactively position ourselves with regard to the future European AI Act with a detailed AI transparency notice. We closely monitor regulatory developments to maintain our compliance.

Yes, we provide a GDPR-compliant Data Processing Addendum (DPA) for all our customers. The DPA is available for download on our Security page or upon request from our team.
